On Sunday 14th November, a service to remember those who fell in both world wars was held at the Coleorton War memorial. The service and prayers were led by Carol Eyley, a Lay Reader from the Flagstaff Family of Churches. Cllr. Terry Betts read out the names of men from Coleorton who gave their lives in the service of their country. Two wreaths were laid; one by Steve de Looze on behalf of St. Mary’s Church and one by Ann Stafford on behalf of the parish council. Thank you to all those who attended the service.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning we will remember them.
