Meetings are usually held at the Beaumont Centre, Peggs Green (the village hall). However, during the recent COVID-19 pandemic the law allowed councils to hold their meetings online. The parish council elected to use Zoom as its platform.
Normally meetings commence promptly at 1900 hrs. so, if you are planning to attend, we would ask that you are at the hall and seated ready for the meeting to start. Please check the website and agenda for confirmation of location and start time. Meetings can be very short or may take up to three hours depending on items on the agenda.
If you have come to a meeting for one particular agenda item, or to raise something during public participation you are not expected to stay for the whole meeting (although you are most welcome to). We do ask that you leave quietly to avoid too much disruption if you are leaving the meeting early.
Planned future Coleorton Parish Council meetings are as follows:
28 April 2021
26 May 2021
23 June 2021
11 August 2021
29 September 2021
3 November 2021
8 December 2021
Attending and Raising Topics at Council Meetings
You are very welcome to attend council meetings and see what goes on as well as being able to make comments on any item on the Agenda. If you wish to raise a topic for the Agenda for a future meeting you should email the Parish Clerk at least five days before the meeting.
