As we did for the Queen’s platinum jubilee, Coleorton and Swannington Parish Councils are planning to come together to organise an event to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III.
Its early days but both parish councils have agreed in principle. Recent community events (Christmas on the Green, Platinum Jubilee) have been planned, organised and carried out by a very small number of people, but it would be great if interested parishioners come spend a few hours helping to generate ideas and possibly assist with the organisation and delivery of an event.

We both have an interest in both parish councils. Our intention would be to have an introductory session one evening either at the Beaumont Centre in Coleorton or Swannington Village Hall (or maybe a local pub depending upon numbers!).
