Following the sad death of Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth II, Councillor Ann Stafford said “This is indeed a very sad day for our country. Coleorton Parish Council joins the nation in mourning the death of Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth the Second”.
Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth the Second dedicated her whole life to the service of our country, the Commonwealth and became our longest serving Monarch.
“On behalf of Coleorton Parish Council, I wish to extend my sincere sympathy to all members of the Royal family at this very sad time.”
A book of condolence will be available at St. Mary’s Church, Coleorton on Saturday 10th September from 10:30 till 15:30 and for a short while after the regular church service on Sunday 11th (11:30 till noon or thereabouts). The book of condolence will then be available at the Beaumont Centre, Coleorton on Monday 12th September from 13:00 to 15:00 and then 18:00 to 20:00.
