Sadly the lovely window boxes recently installed on the fence at the Millennium Garden have already been tampered with, possibly with a view to theft. Today the left hand box was found hanging off at 45 degrees and the attachment bolts and fittings are nowhere to be found. The fittings on the right hand box have also been tampered with. The boxes were fine yesterday. Picture attached shows the boxes before the incident. Please, if anyone sees anything suspicious would you kindly inform the parish clerk (parishclerk@coleorton.org.uk). Also could I please ask you to be aware that the other Coleorton village signs have newly installed window boxes so if you see anything untoward, again please inform the parish clerk. So sad.
