Volunteer Group Plant Sale Success

Volunteer Group Plant Sale Mushrooms

The two plant sales were a great success raising over 700 which will go towards the costs of their work in looking after Coleorton Wood and New Lount Nature Reserve and other green projects in the parish. They have a lot of mushroom and planter orders to fulfil at the workshop sessions.

Find out how you can get involved with the Volunteer Group >> and see more pictures of the plant sales and other activities on Coleorton & New Lount Volunteer Group Facebook page.

If you haven't visited New Lount Nature Reserve or Coleorton Wood recently take a stroll down there and see the difference the Volunteers have made.

About Coleorton Parish

Coleorton Parish includes the villages of Coleorton, Coleorton Moor, Church Town and Farm Town as well as parts of Peggs Green, Griffydam and Lount. The Parish Plan survey in 2008 found that parishioners felt communication of information throughout the parish was not effective and so a website was set up to address this. The website has now become a centre of information about activities and events in and around Coleorton, local clubs and organisations, a directory for local businesses and services and a platform for people who would like to share their enthusiasm for local history and the environment.

If you would like to contribute any item about Coleorton or surrounding areas or add details of your club, organisation or event (no charge) or have any suggestions for items on this website please email webmaster@coleorton.org.uk.

Local businesses and services

Coleorton residents are an enterprising bunch: the latest Coleorton businesses listed in the local services directory include IT specialists, photographers and dog walkers. Email webmaster@coleorton.org.uk if you would like your local business listed (free of charge for Coleorton-based businesses or owners).
