 Watch your speed!
How many times in the last week have you been frightened by a vehicle driving too fast through the village? It’s clearly crazy to travel at speed along our country lanes and through residential areas such as the Moorlands and Lower Moor Road, and drivers on the A512 don’t seem to take notice that there are blind-spots and the road is quite narrow in places. The Parish Council are proposing a Community Speed Watch scheme to raise awareness of speeding in the area - but we need your help. Read more >>

Coleorton Parish includes the villages of Peggs Green, Griffydam, Farm Town, Church Town, Gelsmoor as well as Coleorton and Coleorton Moor. As well as providing better communication with the Parish Council we hope the web site will become a centre of information about activities, events and clubs in the area, a directory for local businesses and services, public transport, a platform for people who would like to share their enthusiasm for local history, wildlife, etc.
