planterNew Planter

Members of The Coleorton & New Lount Volunteer Group have built a new planter to brighten up the junction of Lower Moor Road and the A512. Brian Mee Associates, who have a contract to mow grass on various parish open spaces, have installed it and will keep it filled with flowers and look after it. Now we won't have to wait for the daffodils! Coleorton W.I. look after the planters at Beaumont Green and on the A512.

About Coleorton Parish

Coleorton Parish includes the villages of Coleorton, Coleorton Moor, Church Town and Farm Town as well as parts of Peggs Green, Griffydam and Lount. The Parish Plan survey in 2008 found that parishioners felt communication of information throughout the parish was not effective and so a website was set up to address this. The website has now become a centre of information about activities and events in and around Coleorton, local clubs and organisations, a directory for local businesses and services and a platform for people who would like to share their enthusiasm for local history and the environment.

If you would like to contribute any item about Coleorton or surrounding areas or add details of your club, organisation or event (no charge) or have any suggestions for items on this website please email webmaster@coleorton.org.uk.

Local businesses and services

Coleorton residents are an enterprising bunch: the latest Coleorton businesses listed in the local services directory include IT specialists, photographers and dog walkers. Email webmaster@coleorton.org.uk if you would like your local business listed (free of charge for Coleorton-based businesses or owners).
