The NWLDC planning meeting to discuss this is now scheduled for 16:30 on Monday 15th February at Coalville Council Offices.

 Coleorton Parish Council are planning to set up a Community Speed Watch scheme. We now have enough signatures on the parish petition to borrow the speed monitoring equipment, but we need some volunteers to be trained to use it and then gather the data. Coleorton Parish includes the villages of Peggs Green, Griffydam, Farm Town, Church Town, Gelsmoor as well as Coleorton and Coleorton Moor. As well as providing better communication with the Parish Council we hope the web site will become a centre of information about activities, events and clubs in the area, a directory for local businesses and services, public transport, a platform for people who would like to share their enthusiasm for local history, wildlife, etc.
